Why this page exists
BuzVault lets people publish boards and profiles, which makes
Viharnika Enterprise LLP an intermediary under Indian law. The Information Technology
(Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 require us to name a Grievance
Officer, publish how to reach them, and tell you what we will do and by when. This page is that.
Who handles complaints
| Name | Viralkumar Patel |
| Designation | Grievance Officer |
| Organisation | Viharnika Enterprise LLP |
| Address | 11, Ishwar Krupa Society, Jagatpur Road, Chandlodiya, Ahmedabad 382481, Gujarat, India |
| Email | grievance@buzvault.com |
The Grievance Officer is a named person, not a shared inbox: a complaint sent to the address above
reaches them directly.
How to complain
There are two ways, and both reach the same queue:
- Email the Grievance Officer at
grievance@buzvault.com.
Use this for anything that needs a written record, or for a complaint about us rather than
about a piece of content.
- Use the report form. Every public board and profile has a
Report this content link in its footer, which opens
our report form with the item already
filled in. This is the fastest route for a specific post, board or profile, and it needs no
account. In the app, the same thing is on the share sheet of any item.
What to include
We can act much faster on a complaint that identifies the thing being complained about. Please
tell us:
- The link — the full buzvault.com URL of the board, profile or
saved item, or the
@handle if it is a profile.
- What is wrong with it, in your own words, and which category it falls under
(spam, nudity, hate, harassment, violence, something illegal, or a copyright claim).
- Who you are — your name and an email address we can reply to. We do not
publish this, and we do not pass it to the person you are complaining about.
- If you are complaining on someone else's behalf, say so and say in what
capacity.
- For a copyright or trademark claim, enough detail to identify the work you own
and a statement that you are the owner or are authorised to act for them.
Please do not attach or paste the material itself if it is intimate imagery or
depicts a child. A link is enough, and it keeps the material from being copied further.
What happens next
- Acknowledgement within 24 hours. We confirm
we have your complaint and give it a reference.
- Review. A human reads the complaint and looks at the content. We may ask you
for one clarification if the complaint does not identify the item.
- Action. Depending on what we find, we may remove or unpublish the content,
hide a profile, restrict an account, or decide that nothing is wrong and tell you why.
Unpublishing is reversible and recorded, so a wrong decision can be undone.
- Disposal within 15 days. You get a
written outcome within 15 days of the complaint, even
where the outcome is that we are taking no action.
Urgent complaints
Some complaints do not wait for the ordinary timeline:
- Non-consensual intimate imagery. A complaint that content shows a person in a
state of nudity, in a sexual act, or in impersonated or artificially generated imagery of
either, made by that person or on their behalf, is acted on within
24 hours of receipt. You do not need to
prove ownership of the image first.
- Imagery of a child. Report it by any route above and we will act immediately.
We also report it to the authorities where we are required to.
- An immediate risk to someone's life or safety. Contact the police first — we
are not an emergency service — and tell us as well, so the content comes down.
Court and government orders
A lawful order from a court or an authorised government agency is actioned within
36 hours of receipt. Send it to
grievance@buzvault.com, with the issuing authority and the
specific URLs identified.
If you are not satisfied
If you disagree with the outcome, reply to the decision and ask for it to be reviewed; a second
person looks at it. Nothing on this page limits any other remedy available to you under law,
including approaching the Grievance Appellate Committee constituted under the Rules, or a court of
competent jurisdiction.
Content we remove without a complaint
We also act on our own initiative. What is not allowed is listed in section 6 of the
Terms of Use, and the tools we use — unpublishing a
board, hiding a profile, a small blocklist applied to handles and public names — are described there
and in our moderation process. A public board or profile that has been taken down answers
“no longer available” rather than disappearing silently, so a reporter can see that something
happened.
